News 2 - The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster upholds the Bill on Ratification of the Protocol on Responsibility and Compensation for the Harm inflicted by the Trans-Frontier Carriage of Dangerous Waste and its Disposal - Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster upholds the Bill on Ratification of the Protocol on Responsibility and Compensation for the Harm inflicted by the Trans-Frontier Carriage of Dangerous Waste and its Disposal

The Bill (Reg. No.0134) suggests national legal, normative and administrative principles for economic regulation of international relations in the period of trans-frontier carriage of dangerous waste and its disposal. The Protocol concerning Responsibility and Compensation to the Basle Convention settles the above-mentioned issues and will become the part of the national legislation of Ukraine on its adoption by The Verkhovna Rada.
